About the Role
Woodside is Kansas City's premier luxury health club, offering a retreat-like setting for members to serve their daily fitness and well-being needs. Our full-service day spa provides a variety of treatments, allowing members to unwind and rejuvenate. As a Massage Therapist at Woodside, you will enjoy access to the entire club, including the day spa and boutique, over 100 fitness classes per week, and fitness facilities. You will also have the opportunity to use other amenities like tennis programming and personal training for an added fee. We offer a 30-day draw while building your clientele for both full- and part-time Massage Therapists. Full-time Massage Therapists are eligible for benefits, including health insurance.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Licensed Massage Therapist, Westwood Permit
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-quality spa environment or equivalent clinical hours
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
  • Proficient in all facets of proper massage therapies and body treatments
  • Industry certification in body work specialties is a plus

Skills:
  • Ability to market yourself and build a book of clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing facility
  • Computer literate - proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written
  • Ability to thoroughly articulate treatment and services options to guests
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise diplomacy
  • Ability to reason and problem solve
