Job Summary

The Lead Cleaner is a key member of our cleaning team, responsible for providing leadership and direction to team members. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to team members
  • Relay communication between team members, clients, customers, and management
  • Report performance issues to the Supervisor
  • Assist with the training of cleaning team members
  • Coordinate work assignments and schedules
  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned buildings
  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property
  • Report work orders for maintenance
  • Maintain the quality of jobs and confirm completion with the Manager
  • Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building
  • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
  • Complete order forms accurately
  • Coordinate equipment usage and inventories

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • No experience required, with on-the-job training provided
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • One year of similar work experience preferred
