Job Summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Data Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Department of Radiology, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the goals and objectives of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, allied health staff, and medical center personnel.
  • Perform work activities related to Radiology Data Management and Archive, including film management, electronic image media creation, film digitization, electronic image transfer, quality assurance, and corrections.
  • Take positive action in problem-solving and work with various computer systems.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to customer service and a demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Knowledgeable in various computer systems and applications, with good clerical aptitude and computer skills, including accurate keyboarding.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and the ability to manage Radiology data with accuracy in an organized manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with good interpersonal skills and interactions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Knowledge of PHI and HIPAA organizational policies and guidelines.
