Job Title: Perinatal Care Specialist

An estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Care Specialist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a Perinatal Care Specialist, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional care and support during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods.

Job Description:

The Perinatal Care Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing patient-centered care, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and individualized care throughout their journey. This includes:

  • Assessing patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Providing education and support to patients and families on various aspects of reproductive health and maternal care

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate potential risks
  • Developing and implementing protocols for emergency situations
  • Documenting patient information and progress
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Maternal-Child Nursing or related field
  • Current RN license in Texas and/or current Compact License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in perinatal care
  • Current certification in perinatal nursing (e.g., RNC-PNL)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
