Job Summary

The Facilities Technician will conduct routine maintenance and regular check-ups to ensure that everything is working properly at all times. This includes maintaining the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards, planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments, and working under the Director of Safety to maintain all facilities to Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and regular check-ups to ensure that everything is working properly at all times.
  • Maintain the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
  • Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments.
  • Work under the Director of Safety to maintain all facilities to Joint Commission standards.
  • Ensure that all regulations of the Orange County Fire Authority and National Fire Prevention Association are in compliance.
  • Perform regular tours of company facilities and properties, and manage all repair work therein.
  • Document all work being done at company properties.
  • Proactively assess and perform preventative maintenance on all properties and continuously evaluate areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Education and/or experience in a wide array of facility repair needs, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, general repair, flooring, and basic construction skills.
  • This position requires the ability to drive a company vehicle and to be covered under our company's vehicle insurance, those qualifications are:
    • Current driver license with 4 years of clean driving history;
    • At least 21 years of age.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
