Job Title: Maintenance Technician, Multifamily

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Multifamily. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional maintenance services to our residents, ensuring their homes are safe and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare make-ready apartments by performing tasks such as painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
* Respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain grounds, pools, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure they are clean, operational, and safe.
* Perform maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
* Report any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
* Maintain all safety procedures and safeguard company tools and equipment.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 1+ years of related experience.
* Valid Driver's license, EPA 60- Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate.
* Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.
* Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
* Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery. The employee must be able to travel up to 10% of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 100 pounds frequently, and/or up to 100 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
