UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Registered Nurse Residency-Women Services to join our team. As a Nurse Resident, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the growth and development of our nursing staff.
Job SummaryThe Nurse Resident is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Women's Services department. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, needs, and goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Current RN licensure in the applicable state.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and successful completion of the NCLEX.
- 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
