Service Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Driver to join our team at TEC Equipment, Inc. As a Service Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by picking up and delivering customers' trucks for service, while also ensuring the trucks are in good condition and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities- Pick up customer trucks as directed by the Service team and bring the truck back to the branch for service.
- Greet every customer with authenticity and warmth, demonstrating empathy and ensuring a positive experience.
- Deliver customer trucks quickly after service is complete, answering any questions they may have and providing resources for further assistance.
- Inspect trucks for grease spots, stains, or debris left by technicians and clean them as needed before returning to the customer.
- Inspect each truck for damage that may have occurred during its stay on TEC's property and notify management immediately if damage is discovered.
- Assist in maintaining the trucks and lot in an orderly and efficient manner, ensuring smooth traffic flow and customer convenience.
- Conduct all work with the highest priority on safety of self and others, demonstrating a thorough understanding of company policies and government regulations regarding safe vehicle operation.
- Report accidents and near-misses to management immediately.
- Ensure the parking lot is free from hazards and debris and perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by the Service Manager.
- 2+ years' experience operating Class 8 trucks.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License and ability to meet insurance requirements.
- FANTASTIC customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to read and interpret electronic and paper maps.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and use sound judgment in a changing environment.
- Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance and work in a safe and alert manner.
- The base pay range for this position is $23.09 to $28.87.
