Plona Partners is seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Management Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate and Securities Group, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining a wide range of standard form documents for M&A and EC/VC transactions.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of standard form documents, including merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and other corporate transactional documents.
- Collaborate with practice group leaders to design and deliver training programs, including curriculum development and training materials preparation.
- Stay up-to-date on current legal developments and industry trends, and communicate key insights to attorneys through various channels.
- Prepare tailored thought leadership materials for clients, including pitches, newsletters, and client presentations.
- Coordinate with attorneys to support the delivery of the Knowledge Management effort, seeking partner feedback and review.
- Identify, collect, and organize work product for the Corporate and Securities Group in our knowledge management database.
- Select preferred documents for each transaction and identify precedents for future use.
- Add annotations and value-add commentary to precedent documents as needed.
- Extensive knowledge of legal documents and practice in M&A and EC/VC transactions.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- J.D. or equivalent degree.
- 7+ years of relevant law firm experience as a practicing attorney in corporate and securities transactions.
