The Surgical Services Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the surgical department, ensuring the smooth operation of various tasks essential for patient care.
Work Schedule- Full-Time - 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Assist under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
- Facilitate patient transport, positioning, and the decontamination of surgical environments.
- Prepare operating rooms and manage supply inventory effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to uphold high standards of patient care.
- Support the circulating nurse with assigned tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness in the surgical department, including areas such as ASU, Central Sterile, and Surgery.
- Ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.
- Be adaptable to varying shift requirements as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to focus for extended periods, work autonomously, and apply sound judgment.
- Willingness to adjust work hours to meet departmental demands.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, meeting state-mandated criteria.
- No prior experience necessary.
