The Clinical Nurse Leader will lead and facilitate the daily operations of the unit by supporting the implementation of evidence-based practice, while serving as a resource within the organization for information, education, and training for the safe and efficient daily operations ensuring optimal care for the patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement unit-based policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community resources to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of improving patient outcomes and reducing readmissions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Certification in a relevant specialty, such as CCRN or CNL.
