A Maintenance Technician II position is currently available at MI Windows and Doors. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mechanical and electrical foundation, coupled with exceptional communication abilities and a desire to advance within the organization. Experience in a dynamic manufacturing setting is essential, along with a minimum of three years of expertise in mechanical and electrical systems related to industrial machinery and equipment.
Compensation for this role ranges from $26.00 to $38.00 per hour, based on experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician II include:
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while performing tasks.
- Conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment in designated areas under the supervision of senior mechanics.
- Maintaining clear and accurate communication with team members and supervisors.
- Completing work orders thoroughly and accurately, ensuring all relevant information is documented.
- Managing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations documentation as required by maintenance activities.
- Executing technical maintenance tasks with close oversight.
- Providing necessary information to support proper inventory management of parts.
- Collaborating with external contractors to facilitate project completion and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Preferred technical or trade school degree, or a combination of a high school diploma or G.E.D. with two years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electricity.
- Familiarity with energy sources for utility equipment in the assigned area (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.). Experience with PLCs is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain essential plant utilities (lighting, water systems, drainage systems, etc.).
- Capability to work independently when required.
- Understanding of schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohm meters and voltage meters, along with knowledge of power equipment including saws and drills.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and company policies related to maintenance (Lock Out Tag Out, Personal Protective Equipment, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of critical Maintenance, Repair, Operations, and Proteus procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.
