Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical unit.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time night shift position with rotating weekends. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to medical surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the physician and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License - if practicing within this state.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
