About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team in a top-rated Colorado hospital. As a telemetry nurse, you will play a critical role in monitoring and interpreting patient vital signs, primarily those with cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Interpret Patient Vital Signs: Provide continuous monitoring of patients' heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels.
  • Administer Medications and Monitor Effects: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor their impact on patients.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients.
  • Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Documentation and Quality Improvement: Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse License: Possess a valid license to practice nursing in the state.
  • Telemetry Nursing Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing, with a strong focus on cardiac telemetry.
  • Cardiac Monitoring Skills: Be proficient in interpreting EKGs and other cardiac monitoring equipment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
