Cardiac Catheterization Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Nurse Specialist to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital.

As a Cardiac Catheterization Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.

About the RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you will need to have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a related healthcare degree, as well as a minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in telemetry or critical care (ICU, PACU, ER) nursing. A current California Registered Nursing license and BCLS and ACLS certification are also required. Certification in CRN or CCRN is preferred.
About the SalaryThe salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Working closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Developing and maintaining a therapeutic nurse/patient relationship throughout the health care continuum.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams using the SBAR method.
- Performing documentation of patient care, including assessment, interdisciplinary plan of care, implementation, evaluation, and the Watson Model of Care.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment that complies with regulatory standards.
- Participating in the implementation of the unit specific Quality and Performance Improvement Plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related healthcare degree.
- Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in telemetry or critical care (ICU, PACU, ER) nursing.
- Current California Registered Nursing license.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Certification in CRN or CCRN preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.
