Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with mental health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care
- Supervise and teach psychiatric residents and other trainees as needed
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a psychiatry residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
- Board certification in psychiatry or eligibility for board certification
- Board certification in a subspecialty of psychiatry (e.g., addiction psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry)
- Experience working with veterans or in a similar healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and teaching skills
