Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Execute cleaning tasks according to a structured schedule across designated areas, including resident apartments, communal spaces, lounges, and offices.
• Perform sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming of floors, carpets, and rugs; ensure proper rotation of runners in hallways.
• Sanitize and polish lavatory and shower fixtures; replenish supplies as needed.
• Scrub tiles, woodwork, and window frames to maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in an organized and sanitary manner.
• Collect and dispose of waste from work areas in designated locations.
• Manage community laundry operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals are securely stored when not in use.
• Keep work areas free of hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Report maintenance needs and supply shortages to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in housekeeping is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills in the primary language of residents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines and operational instructions.
• Demonstrated interest in working with senior populations.
• Friendly and courteous interaction with guests, residents, and staff.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
