Job Summary

Montana State University is seeking a qualified individual to provide instruction and related functions as a non-tenurable level faculty member. The successful candidate will teach classes depending on need and available funding.

Responsibilities
  • Teach a seminar course of approximately 15-18 students.
  • Attend CLS faculty meetings to discuss texts and teaching pedagogy.
  • Work with student mentors and their corresponding program.
  • Hold regular and as-needed office hours.
  • Occasionally meet with students outside of class.
  • Participate in program and university assessment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in the appropriate field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse students and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic or professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching interdisciplinary courses.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.
