About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team at JASPER Engines & Transmissions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating business with customers in the Bay Area, including Santa Rosa, Eureka, and Ukiah.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a proven system of selling with supportive marketing material to develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers in territory.
  • Work with small businesses and regional managers of large worldwide fleets to perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (inside sales, customer service, production, distribution) to plan and manage accounts, introduce new products and updates, and develop long-term value-based relationships.
  • Focus on prospecting to grow the business and identify new sales opportunities.
Requirements
  • Degree or sales experience.
  • Hunter sales mentality.
  • Motivation as self-starter.
  • Automotive background/knowledge.
  • Integrity and honesty.

  • Competitive starting base salary of $60k to $75k - based experience, qualifications, and the cost of living associated with the location.
