Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and parts by following production plans and specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Position and align components and parts using templates or measuring devices.
  • Use hand tools and machines to assemble parts and components.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that assembled components meet our quality standards.
  • Clean and maintain work area and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying production plans and gathering necessary parts, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements and following manufacturer's instructions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels and placing and tracking orders.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
