Job Summary:

The Industrial Painter/Blaster Specialist will be responsible for operating cleaning equipment and preparing equipment for painting, demonstrating the ability to mix and apply various types of paint systems to meet both customer and company specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate sandblast equipment and perform masking and feathering of old paint in preparation for new applications.
  • Conduct Dry Film Thickness (DFT) readings, Psychrometer readings, and Surface Temperature readings to ensure compliance with all relevant HSSE guidelines.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts, and work in other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • 25 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
  • Proficient in operating heavy equipment including scissor lifts, cranes, and forklifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in outdoor conditions, including all weather conditions and non-air-conditioned facilities.
  • Maintain constant movement, including stooping, kneeling, and crouching to perform tasks in various environments.
  • Must wear all required PPE, including a full mask.
