About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Northern Light Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care to those in need.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse II will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to assigned patients on a Nursing Unit. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing compassionate care.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations. You will also have the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care to assigned patients on a Nursing Unit
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Provide education to patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Requirements
  • Current Maine Registered Nurse License or eligibility to obtain
  • BLS certification required; ACLS highly preferred
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and alternate shift schedules
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
