Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at ISUDT. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential services to patients, including assessments, clinical interventions, and counseling.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assessments and Clinical Interventions: Perform comprehensive assessments and provide individual and group counseling services, adhering to facility policies and under the supervision of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker.
  • Collaboration and Care Planning: Collaborate with other professionals to contribute to care planning and coordinate interdisciplinary care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Transitional Care Planning: Assist patients in connecting with community resources upon release, promoting successful reintegration.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver solution-focused therapeutic goals, addressing marriage, couples, family, and individual issues, as well as Substance Use Disorders.
  • Education and Counseling: Offer education and counseling to develop life skills and address Substance Use Disorder-related issues, promoting positive change.
  • Documentation and Assessment: Review patient records, gather data, and complete necessary documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Team Collaboration: Make recommendations to care teams, foster effective communication, and collaborate with patients and other disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Valid California MFT License: Possess a valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
  • Experience and Certifications: Have at least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years and hold the required certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area.
