Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at OU Health - 700 NE 13th. As a Traveling Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, working with a variety of patients with complex health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, providing individualized care and attention to their unique needs.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians to examine patients, perform minor diagnostic procedures, and administer medication as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' physiological data, observing changes and intervening as necessary to ensure optimal care.
- Deliver patient care competently, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, sharing care plans and providing education on hospital procedures.
- Make referrals to appropriate personnel as needed, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Delegate tasks to support staff, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
