About the Role: Hometown Health Center is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Physician Assistant, you will work in collaboration with physicians and clinical support staff to perform comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic injuries and illnesses, and promote health maintenance and wellness.

Our center provides exceptional medical care to over 6,200 patients annually, making us a leader in healthcare. We pride ourselves on delivering quality services, including preventive care, acute care, and same-day appointments. With full-time or part-time hours available, this position includes a comprehensive benefit package featuring health, life, and disability insurance, as well as a generous employer-matched retirement plan.

Requirements: A minimum of two years of primary care experience is required. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality and deliver patient-centered care that preserves autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs. Additionally, proficiency in EMR systems, basic knowledge of billing and reimbursement, and strong time management skills are essential. To be considered, applicants must have successfully completed an accredited Physician Assistant program, hold current licensure to practice in Maine, and possess a valid DEA License with Schedule II Privileges, as well as current BLS certification.
