We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Qualis Corporation.
About the Role
- Lead upcoming Army work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Design and implement secure systems and architectures to meet DoD requirements.
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessment activities to ensure the security of our systems.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DoD regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited program.
- One of the following certifications: CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) CE, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or Associate), or Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSSLP).
- Preferred additional certifications: CISSP-Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP), CISSP-Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), or Comprehensive Cyber Security (CCS).
- A minimum of five years of experience in one or a combination of the following areas: cyber resiliency and cyber survivability endorsement process, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and Raise The Bar (RTB) compliance, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Authority to operate (ATO) and interim authorization to test (IATT), Lab-based security assessments (LBSA) and site-based security assessment (SBSA), coordination with Army Cross Domain Management Office (ACDMO), DoD Security/Cybersecurity Authorization Working Group (DSAWG), and Information Systems Risk Management Committee (ISRMC), architecting and designing embedded systems and software with a security focus, performing threat modeling and risk assessment activities based on system or system of systems architecture/design, performing hardware and software assurance activities, software and systems engineering experience, experience or knowledge with pen testing processes/methodologies.
