About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality early education to our students. As an Early Education Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing daily activities for a class of children, creating a love of lifelong learning, and continuously assessing each child's developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and oversee daily activities for a class of children.
  • Create a love of lifelong learning and foster a nurturing environment.
  • Continuously assess each child's developmental needs and create lesson plans to meet their individual requirements.
  • Maintain a well-organized and inviting classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children.
  • Attend all mandatory staff meetings, workshops, and school functions as directed by the Director.
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations related to the health, safety, and welfare of children.
  • Maintain a consistently professional personal appearance, attitude, and work ethic.
  • Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of the classroom, prioritizing sanitation.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
  • Must meet all state requirements for this position.
  • Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience, specifically with children under the age of 3.
  • A friendly and outgoing demeanor.
  • Exceptional professionalism and dependability.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Strong organizational abilities, proficiency in multitasking, and effective time management in a fast-paced setting.
  • The capability to interact with students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. in scenarios related to child handling for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
  • Ability to create lesson plans utilizing Creative Curriculum.
  • Ability to work through a transitional period.
