We are seeking a highly skilled Signal Processing Engineer to join our team at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing innovative signal processing solutions for electronic warfare systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop novel signal processing concepts to defeat enemy radar and communication systems
  • Study current and future radar and communication systems, evaluating their performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Participate in the end-to-end modeling and performance evaluation of new systems being designed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and test new signal processing concepts
  • Brief sponsors and internal stakeholders on project progress and results
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in engineering with a concentration in signal processing or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant experience in signal processing design and analysis
  • Strong programming skills in MATLAB or Python
  • Coursework in estimation and detection theory, communication systems, or statistical signal processing
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level clearance and ultimately a TS/SCI level security clearance
