SUMMARY: This role involves delivering exceptional customer support, alongside performing clerical, administrative, and business-related tasks as outlined below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to this position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- Responds to incoming calls, engaging with customers to address inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage customer accounts.
- Conducts data entry tasks efficiently.
- Manages incoming mail by opening and categorizing correspondence.
- Executes general office duties, including maintaining and organizing documentation and files.
- Assists with special projects as directed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A one-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficient in writing simple correspondence. Capable of effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Capable of computing rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpreting bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Capable of addressing problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
