Internship Program Summary

Jabil's Summer Internship Program has been recognized as one of the top internship programs in the country. Interns will have the opportunity to engage with Jabil's leadership team and participate in professional development, networking, and community engagement activities. Interns will collaborate in committees, receive mentorship, tour facilities, and much more.

Position Overview

This internship focuses on management reporting and financial planning. The intern will collaborate closely with the FP&A and Accounting teams, as well as business partners, to ensure accurate reporting of actuals, analyze budget variances, and contribute to the budgeting and strategic planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Support data extraction and analysis for management reporting.
  • Contribute to enterprise forecasts and analyze trends in sales and finance.
  • Address various ad-hoc requests from the executive leadership team.
  • Measure Key Performance Indicators and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Communicate a clear narrative around business drivers related to financial data.
  • Evaluate key operational issues, risks, and business drivers affecting budgets and forecasts.
  • Participate in month-end close activities and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong understanding of financial planning and ERP systems to enhance reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate information and identify trends.
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Power BI is preferred.
  • Previous internship experience is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive work independently.

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
