Job Title: IT Engineer

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and supporting the servers, networks, and infrastructure systems of Global IT Resources Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Microsoft Server environments, including Exchange, SQL, AD, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and SharePoint.
  • Manage and support VMware infrastructure, storage, and Microsoft Backoffice environments across multiple locations.
  • Bring new and innovative technologies and ideas to the business, ensuring highly-available systems and compliance with security standards, patch management, business continuity/disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
  • Install and configure system hardware and software, providing after-hours and on-call coverage for IT systems as well as serving as a tier 3 escalation on off-call weeks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing VMware, NetApp, and Microsoft Backoffice environments.
  • Applicable professional certifications highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline highly desirable.
