Position Overview
The Pediatric Cardiac Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in the patient care team, focusing on the assessment of patients undergoing echocardiographic evaluations.

Compensation
Minimum $53.00 Midpoint $53.00 Maximum $54.00


Compensation is influenced by various factors, including knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, and specific job requirements.

Experience Requirements

Mandatory:
At least one (1) year of experience in pediatric cardiac echocardiography.

Preferred:
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in pediatric cardiac echocardiography.

Educational Background

Mandatory:

Completion of an Echocardiography training program that includes pediatric clinical experience or prior experience in a pediatric echocardiographer role, holding the RCCS or RDCS-PE registry.

Training Requirements

Mandatory:
No additional training required.

Licensure Requirements

Mandatory:

Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered Cardiac Sonographer; Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer fetal echocardiography (RDMS - FE); Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer and Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS - PE) - required within six (6) months of employment.

Work Environment - Functional Demands:
Heavy - Very high energy level Lift over 50 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. a distance of 30 feet. Push/pull > 200 lbs. (e.g., Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer or maximum assist sit to stand transfer.
