CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in a travel position. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiologic exams and procedures to patients, ensuring accurate and safe results.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions, reporting outcomes to healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and procedures, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
- Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Certifications and licenses as required by state and federal regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment, as well as stand for long periods.
