GSE Technician

We are seeking a skilled GSE Technician to join our team at TREGO DUGAN AVIATION OF GRAND ISLAND INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

• Inspect and maintain ground support equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and/or overhaul ground support equipment to meet operational requirements.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals to identify root causes.
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to specifications.
• Conduct thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure maximum reliability.
• Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components to prevent wear and tear.
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery to maintain optimal performance.
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
• Keep accurate logs of work and report on issues to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Completion of GSE paperwork as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some mechanical experience, with a willingness to learn through hands-on experience.
• Your own tools, with the ability to maintain and update them as needed.
• A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.

This role requires occasional travel and the ability to work a variety of assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends. You must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency call-ins as needed.
