Job Overview

This role involves providing diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders for adults and children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluates patients with communication disorders, administers diagnostic tests, and develops individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Mentors junior staff members and participates in staff development programs.
  • Develops and maintains department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The selected candidate will be expected to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment and possess knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements. A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and relevant experience are required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California), National Provider Identifier, and Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
