Job Overview

Sayville Ford, a leading Ford dealership on Long Island, is seeking a skilled Parts Counterperson to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage all parts orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers.
  • Monitor and control parts inventory, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Create and manage bin locations for new stock, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Notify customers of parts arrival and any discrepancies or shortages.
  • Process and prepare accessories for shelving and returns.
  • Deliver parts to our second location and perform light forklift duties.
  • Process warranty scrap and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior auto parts sales experience is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check.
