Position Summary:

The Production Worker plays a crucial role in the operation of various machinery, including chop saws, band saws, bending boards, coupling machines, and reducing & belling machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery to facilitate the production workflow.
  • Ensure materials are produced at an efficient rate.
  • Perform general manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting materials.
  • Follow established guidelines and instructions to execute job functions.
  • Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Conduct physical inspections for production and quality assurance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols regarding machinery and the workplace.
  • Keep the work environment tidy and organized.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to identify pipes by size and type.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and basic math skills.
  • General understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and tasks.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Capability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Capacity to work in typical warehouse temperature conditions.
  • Desire to learn about warehouse and company operations.
