About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our Case Management team at PennState Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary:

  • This role involves working with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health, with a focus on prevention and early intervention.
  • You will provide counsel and guidance to help individuals navigate life's challenges and develop strategies for achieving their goals.
  • In collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, you will help design and implement personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Counsel and advise individuals and groups to promote optimal mental and emotional health.
  • Help individuals deal with a broad range of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
  • Orient and train new team members as required.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight and support to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • At least one year of experience in a related field, preferably in case management or mental health services.
  • Act 31 training completion within 45 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced license, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or NCC/LSW, with two years' experience in a related field.

Salary:$74,900 - $94,400 per year, depending on experience
