About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team at IDEXX Laboratories. As an Instrument Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of new or modified electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components or assemblies across all IDEXX product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test new or modified electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components or assemblies
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely creation and implementation of procedures and documentation
  • Execute and implement equipment preventative maintenance programs
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning products
  • Record test procedures and results, utilizing spreadsheet tools to archive numerical and graphical data
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Production/manufacturing or related experience
  • Electromechanical equipment repair experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic acumen, including use of diagnostic equipment and related tooling
  • MS Office platforms and other relevant software tools and knowledge
