#### Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled LPN healthcare professional to join our team at Soliant in a middle school setting. As a school nurse, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of students, while also collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.

#### Salary

#### Job Description

As a school nurse, your primary responsibility will be to administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while also following school policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for monitoring and managing students with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies.

Key responsibilities include:

* Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians and following school policies and procedures.

* Assessing and addressing injuries or illnesses that may occur during school hours.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
* Communicating with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health concerns.
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
* Participating in health screenings, immunization programs, and health education initiatives.
* Maintaining a clean and organized healthcare facility within the school premises.

#### Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A valid LPN license.
* Experience working as an LPN in a school, pediatric, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
* Ability to assess, identify, and respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
* Empathetic, passionate, and patient-focused approach to care.
* Proficient in maintaining accurate and organized health records.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
