  • Talent Development: Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values and display Leadership Qualities through a servant-leader mentality, prioritizing tasks, and solving problems proactively.
  • Inventory Management: Strategically direct control of inventory and the distribution of materials, merchandise, and supplies.
  • Financial Management: Review financial statements, sales analysis reports, and other performance data to measure productivity.
  • Operational Improvements: Actively identify areas of operational improvements based on market trends.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure efficient and correct deliveries.
  • Staffing: Create or approve management and associate schedules to ensure proper staffing levels for expected sales volumes.
  • Performance Management: Write, implement, and monitor manager development and performance plans.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed.
  • Experience: 5+ years of prior food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience; retail management experience preferred.
  • Skills: Analyzing overall financial performance of the store, including profit and loss statements; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; proven knowledge of Labor Laws and staffing best practices.
  • Certifications: Manager Food Handler certification; may be required to obtain and maintain alcohol server permit, based on local or state requirements.
