College Recruiter Job Description

EchoStar Corporation is a premier global provider of satellite communication solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced College Recruiter to join our Hughes Network Systems division.

This role will be responsible for building relationships with universities, attracting and selecting students for internship and full-time positions, and conducting information sessions and presentations to student organizations.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in college recruiting, knowledge of applicant tracking systems, and CRM software applications. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with hiring managers, career services, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with universities to build relationships and pipelines for new grads and intern hiring
  • Attract, select, and hire students for both internship and full-time positions
  • Conduct phone screens, facilitate interviews/assessments, and extend offers
  • Conduct information sessions, deliver presentations to student organizations, and communicate our employer brand
  • Act as a Talent Acquisition consultant to hiring managers, focusing on early career talent and executing hiring plans
  • Create strategic partnerships with career services at targeted universities
  • Focus on strategy and opportunities to grow an established program to the next level
  • Engage additional universities that may be able to support hiring needs
  • Collaborate with other SME's within the business to present best practices, program design, and execution
  • Produce metrics on university recruiting efforts such as ROI and acceptance rate
  • Manage the university software systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in college recruiting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Workday or other applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of Avature or other CRM software applications
