Radiologic Imaging Specialist

The Radiologic Technologist, Non-Registered will assist and perform duties in the diagnostic imaging department at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure patient safety and assist technologists during patient procedures
- Collect films, locate folders, interact with physicians, coordinate workflow, and answer telephone calls
- Administer roentgen rays to patients with supervision by a registered technologist
- Evaluate orders, assess patients, operate X-ray equipment, develop film, prepare patient rooms, clean equipment, stock and utilize supplies and medications
- Correlate and integrate radiologic aspects of care for all patients, ranging from neonates to geriatrics
- Practice radiation safety and follow prescribed techniques in administering general and specific x-rays
- Attending a radiologic technology program recognized by The American College of Radiology and completing their base training in a hospital setting
- Pass the ARRT registry within three attempts or one year upon completion of the radiologic technology program
- CPR certification required
