Overview

Labcorp is a leading healthcare company that requires highly skilled individuals to work in our laboratory environment. Our team of professionals is dedicated to providing accurate and reliable test results for millions of patients every month.

Estimated Salary: $21 - $28 per hour (plus 3rd shift differential)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing, ensuring accuracy and precision in each step.

  • Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems efficiently, maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal teams.

  • Send test requests to the proper location and release test results in a timely manner, adhering to strict quality control standards.

  • Assist clients with any specimen-related requests or inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.

  • Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities, ensuring seamless coordination and logistics.

  • Provide support to various areas of the laboratory, contributing to the smooth operation of daily tasks and projects.

  • Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.

  • Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.

  • Comfortability with handling biological specimens and ability to accurately identify them.

  • Basic computer and data entry skills, with strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment, well-organized and detail-oriented.

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods, passing a standardized color blindness test.

Benefits:

Casual, PRN & Part-Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
