We are seeking an Animal Health Monitoring Services Representative to join our dynamic team at IDEXX Laboratories. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about scientific expertise and partnerships with Pharma, Biotech, and Academia.

About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing our Animal Health Monitoring Lab Business, as well as expanding our Preclinical Research and Biologic Material Testing Services segments within academic and government markets, pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets.

Your call points will include principal investigators, laboratory animal veterinarians, research core facility managers, and research lab managers. Your customers would be found in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and contract research companies. Your responsibilities will include cultivating long-term relationships with key leaders in your territory to garner business in support of preclinical research projects and increasing the research animal health monitoring laboratory business -- both maintaining and growing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for selling IDEXX Preclinical Pathology and Research Animal Health Monitoring Lab services as well as cell line authentication and other biologic material testing services, along with central lab testing for Veterinary Clinical trials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships of existing and potential customers, including preparing and following up on quotations and bids.
  • Presentation development and delivery to potential and existing customers on our comprehensive services portfolio, including hands-on product demonstrations.
  • Provide expert support to customers with technical inquiries related to lab services.
  • Plan and execute educational seminars in critical strategic areas.
  • Participate in trade show events, encompassing booth duties, lead generation, and post-event follow-up.
  • Ensure timely completion of sales administrative tasks, including Salesforce.com requirements and territory management activities.
  • Engage in business review discussions, incorporating financial models, cost justification, comparison, and market insights. Communicate competitive challenges to leadership.
  • Address customer queries regarding billing, dispute resolution, collection, and satisfaction.
  • Maintain advanced technical knowledge and situational awareness of the Bioresearch Market.
