UCSF Fresno Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team at UCSF Fresno and VACCHCS. As a faculty member, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, teaching and mentoring residents and fellows, and contributing to the development of our medical education program.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to veteran patients, including routine check-ups, diagnostic testing, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Supervise and teach residents and fellows in the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program, ensuring they receive comprehensive training in primary care.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of our medical education program, including curriculum design, teaching, and evaluation.
- Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) and board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and eligibility for appointment at the VA.
- Strong clinical and teaching skills, with experience in primary care and medical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, residents, and faculty.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- A competitive salary range of $220,000-$300,000, commensurate with experience.
