Our goal is to provide effective and intensive one-on-one therapy to children diagnosed with Autism, developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Behavior Technician or Registered Behavioral Technician to join our team in Morris, IL. This part-time position requires a reliable and compassionate individual who can work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental and behavioral disabilities. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data to monitor progress, and providing documentation on client progress.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans written and directed by the BCBA
  • Work with children between the ages of 2 and 14 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental and behavioral disabilities
  • Implement behavior intervention programming
  • Collect data to monitor the progress
  • Attend scheduled trainings and team meetings
  • Provide documentation on client progress, including detailed clinical notes for each session

Requirements

  • High school Diploma
  • Previous experience working in the ABA setting including 40-hour RBT coursework (RBT certification is not required) OR within the special needs classroom setting
  • A clean driving record, excellent references, and the ability to pass a background check
  • Sensitivity to working with our clients and their families' diverse needs
  • A calm and neutral demeanor in challenging situations
