Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team at CPVA Management, Inc. In this role, you will ensure that our properties are functioning optimally, conducting regular inspections and performing essential maintenance tasks to uphold our standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on various systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance and reduce safety hazards.
  • Document all maintenance activities and repairs conducted on equipment.
  • Assess the premises for any structural issues and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Address additional maintenance needs as they arise.
  • Maintain the aesthetic and safety standards of both interior and exterior community spaces.
Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance tools, techniques, and procedures.
  • Strong work ethic coupled with excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience is required.
  • Availability for on-call maintenance duties during evenings and weekends.
  • At least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance is mandatory.
  • Understanding of safety protocols related to electricity, gas, water, and hazardous materials.
  • Basic skills in painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and cleaning are necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift, climb, and maneuver ladders as needed.
