Key Responsibilities

As a Lifeguard, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supervising the safety of patrons in and around the pool area
  • Responding to emergency situations with confidence and poise
  • Enforcing pool rules and regulations, while maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Providing first aid and emergency care to patrons as needed
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to our members and daily guests

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to:

  • Be at least 15 years old on or before June 5, 2024
  • Be able to swim 200 yards without stopping
  • Tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands
  • Remove a dive brick or training mannequin from 12ft of water
  • Be available to train during the months of March, April, and May
  • Earn StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification/license during pre-season spring training

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 for first-year guards, as well as comprehensive training and one employee uniform provided at no cost. You'll also have the opportunity to gain lifelong skills, make new friends, and enjoy a fun, team-oriented environment from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
