Assistant Manager Job Description

At Wash and Roll, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our growing carwash team. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining customer satisfaction, and supporting the manager in achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train team members to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed on time, and all areas of the carwash are clean and well-maintained.
  • Customer Service: Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Scheduling and Task Assignment: Assist with creating schedules and assigning tasks to team members, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and well-maintained, creating a positive and safe environment for customers and employees.
  • Goal Support: Support the manager in achieving business goals, providing input and suggestions to drive success.
  • Staff Development: Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to improve overall performance, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and management.
  • Time Management: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, managing time and resources to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet the needs of the business and customers.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Work Hours: Must work 50 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust schedules as needed to meet business demands.
